Lill Tschudi (1911-2004), Tochter einer Kaufmannsfamilie aus dem ländlichen Schweizer Kanton Glarus, ging 1929-1930 nach London, um in der damals überbordend lebensfrohen Metropole eine künstlerische Ausbildung zu machen.
