  • A delightful read! 5/5

This is a charming tale of Yorkshire life, based on the real village of Hawksworth, which is about 12 miles northwest of Leeds. It tells the story of Grace Holden, who flees to the isolated village of Windybridge to escape her London Life. She meets a cast of interesting local characters and visit moors and villages based on real life locations. I particularly enjoyed the Yorkshire dialect spoken by the characters but appreciate that this may make it a more difficult read for those not from Yorkshire!
