  • A must-read historical detective novel! 5/5

Set in late nineteenth century Leeds, Detective Inspector Tom Harper is searching for a missing child whilst investigating one murder of a gas worker in a city close to the edge. A great detective story with historical flavour. The author does lots of research here in the library (Leeds). You can look at photos of some of places at www.leadis.net
