Biographie

  • A nostalgic time capsule of post-war English countryside life 5/5

This beautiful time capsule of English life starts just after WW1. Lee chronicles his life in the village of Slad. From small child rolling in the long grass stuffing his face with blackberries, to adult leaving the safety of his village behind for adventures unknown. It captures the traditions of village life in such glorious detail. Sparkling an almost melancholy feeling of rural idyll.
